Sue's love for dance and fitness inspired her to train as an Exercise to Music Instructor in 2002. She was awarded a distinction by Debbie Grills of Fulcrum. Sue then started up community classes in the village of Box where she still runs the very popular 20/20/20 classes. During this time she was approached by Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Club (then run by Julia Richardson) to run classes in the Bath and Chippenham area where she found helping individuals achieve their personal fitness and health related goals, very rewarding.
Noticing considerable benefits from Pilates throughout her third pregnancy, Sue went on to qualify as a Pilates teacher in 2003 with the Pilates Institute, and also undertook specific back-care training and postural analysis.
In October 2004 Sue gained a qualification in Life-Coaching, a tool which has been invaluable with her 'one 2 one' clients.
Other workshops Sue has attended include Rachel Holmes Fitness Pilates Ideas and Kathryn Cullen Stability Ball Training. In 2006 Sue undertook further training to become an advanced Pilates instructor with Future Fit and completed her level three portfolio in March 2009.
Sue has continued to deepen her knowledge and stay informed of the challenges and changes within the fitness industry. She is a member of Fit Pro, Choreography To Go, and Inner Idea, and is on the Register of Exercise Professionals to that of an advanced level three Pilates instructor.
Apart from running local community classes, Sue has a wide variety of interests which include running, swimming, piano playing, gardening, singing, and spending time with her four children.
Sue is a compassionate and committed Christian and loves working with people of all ages. She joined a mission trip to Romania in 2006 where she worked in orphanages, hostels and visiting prisons. Sue also took the opportunity to travel with the Ugandan Development Fund to Uganda in August 2008 to visit and work in two orphanages, an experience she describes as life-changing and is also a supporter of the Inspiration 418 Trust charity.
Sue is committed to helping others incorporate a healthy life-style and bringing out the best in them. She achieves this in a professional, sensitive and compassionate manner.
